8 & 9 months old

Hadleigh you are 8 months old.  You wear a size 3 diaper and 9-12 month clothes.  You have 2 teeth. You weigh 17 pounds, but I didn't measure you to see how long you are.  You are still sleeping through the night and you drink a bottle every 3 hours.  You like almost every food you have been given,  except green beans and peas from the jar.  You love regular table food especially mashed potatoes and sweet potato.  You are still pulling up and climbing on EVERYTHING,  no steps yet, just pulling up and holding on.  You can crawl as fast as lightening, especially if you are trying to keep up with Hannah.

You decided not to keep your sticker on this month

  You have been to the pumpkin patch and got your very first pumpkin! You also went to your very first state fair, and Mommy didn't take any pictures there.

You love to face-time with Mommy while I'm at work, mostly you just cry and get upset because I can't hold you when you see me on face-time.  This one you were happy to see me!

 You usually get in the big bath tub at night with Sissy

 You have been crawling and pulling up on everything. You crawl over to the baby gate and pull up and stand and look like you are in jail. You will pull up on anything, even the bath tub.  

9 months old- You are still wearing 9-12 month clothes and a size 3 diaper.  You still only have 2 teeth.

Hadleigh, you are so sweet and loving.  Daddy says I have spoiled you by holding you all the time, but that's ok, you are a Mommy's girl!  Mommy and Daddy love you so much,  we can not imagine our life without you.  You are such a joy to us all.

7 months old

Hadleigh, you are 7 months old!  You are wearing a size 3 diaper and mostly 6 month clothes.  You weigh around 17 pounds and I haven't measured you to see how long you are.  You are still sleeping through the night.  You eat baby food, and I've given you puffs.  You like them, but Hannah always tries to steal them from you.  Poor second child I didn't take many pictures of you this month.

 

Hannah like to have tea parties with you!  She shoves the cup up to your mouth!

6 months old

Hadleigh, you are 6 months old!  You wear a size 3 diaper. You wear some 6 month and 9 month clothes (mostly need 9 month clothes because everything else is too short).  You weigh 15 pounds and are 25 inches long. 

You have had a few foods, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, squash and apples. I think you like sweet potatoes the best!

 

 

You have started sitting up and you are doing really well with it.

You took your first beach trip this month and we dipped your toes in the water. You also went to Marbles Children's Museum with Hannah and you rode in the stroller while Sissy played.

 

 

You LOVE your doggie that Hannah gave you when you were born.  I've named him Brownie, because he's brown.  You sleep with him every night.

You said "da-da" this month and you babble ALL the time, sometimes at night when it's quiet in the house you decide it's time to talk, and you talk a lot in the morning, and you wake us up.

We can not believe how much you are growing and how big you are getting.  I can't believe it's already been 6 months since we saw that sweet little face and met you for the first time.  We love you so much!!!

Hadleigh-5 months old

Hadleigh, you are 5 months old.  You weigh 14 pounds and 12 ounces and are 24 1/2 inches long (You were at Mommy's work so I weighed and measured you)!  You wear a size 2 diaper and 3-6 month clothes.

August 17, 2014

You eat EVERY 3 hours, like clockwork and you sleep from about 7:30 every night to 6-6:30 in the mornings.  We get you up about 9:30 and feed you again before we go to bed.  You are getting SO big, you love to play on your playmat, walking in the walker, and sitting in your bumbo seat. You love to watch Maya and Riley and Roscoe, and you smile and laugh at them.

You went swimming for the first time this month at Dennis' house.

You have started holding your bottle when you drink too.

Hannah calls you Haddie Waddie and Papa said we have to stop calling you that, that we have to call you Hadleigh, but that's Hannah's special name for you and she can call you whatever she wants to, you are her Sissy!  Hannah asks every morning when she gets up "Where's my Haddie Waddie??"

Hadleigh, you are so laid back and sweet.  You hardly ever cry unless you are hungry or need to be changed.  Hannah plays with you all the time and bothers you, but you really don't seem to mind.  She wants you to hold her hand all the time in the car, and she grabs your hand and you just let her hold on to you. 

Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we are so thankful for you! You are such a great gift from God!

Hadleigh 4 months old

Hadleigh you are 4 months old.  You wear a size 2 diaper and 3-6 month clothes.  You are 13 pounds and 24 inches long!

July 17, 2014

You are consistently rolling over and holding your head up.  You roll whereever you want to go, sometimes you even roll yourself off your blanket on the floor.  You drink 4 ounces of milk every 3 hours and by the 3 hour mark it better be ready or you get really mad.  Otherwise, you are so content, you play by yourself and and entertain yourself.

You really love your Sophie, both of them, you have a teether one and a plush on with a rattle in it. 

We also dedicated you back to God on July 13, 2014 at Greenville Church of God. 

Since you are holding up your head so well you were able to take your first wagon ride at school!

Hadleigh, Mommy and Daddy love you so much.  We could not imagine our lives without you.
