How Far Along: 36 weeks!
Size of baby: Baby Ayscue is the size of a crenshaw melon
What’s developing: Her main job at 36 weeks is gaining weight. Weight gain is vital to her health and well being after delivery. The more weight she puts on the better prepared she will be to face the challenges that will present on the 'outside'. Lanugo and vernix are being shed because as she plumps up and gains more weight, she doesn't require it anymore. Next week, when she is full-term, it will begin to steadily decrease. She continues to swallow amniotic fluid, and excrete it as urine. Most babies are now situated in their birthing position, head down.
Clothes: Mostly all maternity
Clothes: Mostly all maternity
Gender: It’s a GIRL
Movement: Baby Ayscue moves A LOT.
Sleep: Waking up at least 2 or 3 times a night to use the bathroom. I’m tired in the mornings, sort of dragging around from tossing and hoisting myself out of the bed.
What I miss: I like being pregnant, but I miss being able to do things without being tired and I miss bending over.
Cravings: Dr Pepper and Oatmeal, not at the same time though!

Symptoms: I’ve had some swelling all along but my hands are swelling more now and my ankles are starting to swell
Best Moment this week: Seeing Baby Ayscue on the ultrasound and her head is down and in position.
